YOU and ME Around the World

�A good life is a life that is made. Though we are riddled with many conflicts during our lives, a good life is made good by essentially one thing. This thing is staying courageous enough to believe in whatever it is that drives you. It would be easy to just step back from life, and let it happen, but this would effectively mean that our lives don’t really mean much. Purposeful action and belief is what will keep us away from just treading water in the sea of life, and instead will keep us swimming, build us a raft, and guide us to new adventures and new plains in our lives.�

�Your truest friends are the ones who will always be there for you, no matter what happens, and who will never leave your side. A real friend knows you at your deepest levels and whether they agree with you or not, they will commit to always being there for you when you are truly down, even when it is least convenient for them to do so.�

�A little thing called hope is sometimes all we have. When life gives us odds that seem as though they are impossible to overcome, we should never lose hope, because when we lose hope, we lose in life, period! Don’t fear losing! Keep going for the dreams in life that you know you desire in your heart, and that you know are really meant for you!�

�In order to celebrate our lives in every day and every place that we possibly can responsibly, we have to first be willing to live. Taking risks, using courage, and persistence in every aspect of our lives is a must, and utilizing these important qualities and traits are representative of the characters that everyone must learn to possess, and to master to make it as far as possible in their lives. Celebrating responsibly requires us to take caution, and to think about every move we make in our lives as well.�

�The most beautiful person in the world isn’t the one with the most dashing looks, but is instead the person with the most character in the world. True beauty comes from within, while the beauty on our exteriors easily fades overtime; a person grows more and more beautiful inside as they allow their lives to progress�

�The only way that we can leave a legacy on this earth is by affecting people in the most positive way possible. Instead of living our lives for reasons that don’t really matter when we are gone, we have to set the goal in life of using our limited amount of time here in preparation of our last day.�

�Though the beginning of a new year may be seen by most as a world of new possibilities, soon to be opened up by changes in lifestyle and changes in the decisions that they will choose to make, every day is essentially a day that we can begin to start a new lifestyle. Every waking moment, we have the decision to make changes in our lives despite the decisions that we have already made in the past, there is always room new beginnings�

�Long distance relationships are some of the hardest relationships to maintain, and to work, but can be some of the most fulfilling and rewarding relationships when done right. In order to make these types of relationships work both parties have to be on the same page from the beginning. Both parties must know what to expect from each other, and both parties must be willing to keep things spicy and interesting as much as possible in order to keep the flame of the relationship lit.�

�When you really love someone, you not only love them for what they are now, but you also will love them for who they have been to you in the past, and for the person that they are growing into. Unconditional, undying love is hard to come by. Just as parents love their kids with determination, so we must love our partners with a flame of love that never goes out.�

�When people hate on you, or seem to be jealous of you, never think that you are doing something wrong, because in fact the only time you will have haters is when you are making some kind of progress in life. Think about it. Do you know people without haters? Usually these are the people who are making no attempts to do anything in life but stay afloat.�

�Being happy is being alive wherever you are in life now, being happy does not mean that life will always be perfect, it just means that you are willing to look past its imperfections, towards the parts of life that require your focus like love, your relationships, and an understanding of life that you may be able to teach to generations to come.�

�Remember that being patient and resting in God is key to showing him that you are faithful. Showing God that you are willing to trust in him, and that you will continue to live as he tells you to live will only further increase the blessings he blesses you with in your life. Be patient when you are waiting on the Lord.�

�One lesson that we have to learn in life is that most times it is thoughts we have, instead of actual events that cause us to exhibit an emotional response. If you choose to think on only troubling times, in turn you will only think of troubling things, and from these thoughts you will then act accordingly. We have to learn how to control these feelings and not let your thoughts turn the current situation into more than it truly has to be.�

�Choosing to love as much as we live is like the second of the 1-2 punches when you are trying to defeat whatever despair lies ahead of you. Since God is Love, if we just devote ourselves to keeping a loving, and positive attitude while at all possible, we will easily be able to conquer life as we know it. Make an effort today to keep love in your heart, no matter what hate is thrown in your path, and to keep laughing, even when the world tries its hardest to steal your smile.�
